General Entry Requirements
The aim of our general entry requirements is to facilitate students being enrolled onto a study programme where they will be successful and which will enable them to make appropriate progression. The study programmes available to students will be determined by the grades gained at GCSE.

| 3 GCSEs Grade 4 or above
PLUS
2 GCSEs Grade 5 or above
These should include Grade 4s in:
GCSE English Language OR
English Literature
AND/OR
GCSE Maths

| Blended Learning Programme |
For learners who have completed GCSEs with an average grade between 4.0 and 4.99
Learners are to be enrolled on a mixed programme of A Level (maximum 2) and vocational (minimum 1) courses |
| A Level Programme |
For learners who have completed GCSEs with an average grade between 5.0 and 5.99
Learners are to be enrolled on 3 A Levels and/or vocational courses |
| Honours Programme |
For learners who have completed GCSEs with a minimum average grade of 6.0+
Learners are to be enrolled on 3 A Levels.
In addition to studying 3 A Levels, learners can also be enrolled on:
- EPQ – highly encouraged
- Honours Enrichment Programme
- 4th A Level by exception only
Where there is no A Level option in a subject, learners can be enrolled on technical courses instead of an A Level. |
