Level 2 Preparing for Progression Pathway

Are you 16 -18 and not currently in education, employment or training?

Our six-week programme has been designed to support young people to make the right choice for their next steps into further education or employment. You may be a school leaver who has not yet decided on the right career path, or currently studying a subject that you no longer enjoy. If you are looking for a pathway that will enable you to explore your options while developing confidence and interpersonal skills this could be for you.

The programme involves employability and personal development sessions in College, with a tutor and personal progress coach (PPC). You will create a portfolio to support your progression into employment or further education, including documentation to use for job applications and interviews. This is a level 2 programme and requires applicants to have achieved GCSE English and maths at grade 2 or above before starting the programme.

Following this programme you may be ready to apply for a full-time vocational course starting in September or use your knowledge and skills gained to find employment.
