Enrichment
Enrichment to Support You to Thrive
Enrichment activities are an important part of your college experience. They are designed to help you enjoy your time at college, build confidence, and develop the skills you need for your future, whether that is further study, an apprenticeship or other employment.
Alongside your course, you can take part in a wide range of enrichment opportunities that enhance your learning, support your wellbeing and help you gain valuable real-world experience.
From sports, clubs and fitness activities to volunteering and Student Voice, there is something for everyone. Getting involved in enrichment helps you make new friends, try new things and develop skills that employers value.
What is Enrichment?
Enrichment activities take place outside of your main lessons and are designed to support your personal development, wellbeing and employability. They give you the opportunity to explore your interests, develop new skills and feel part of the college community.
Activities may vary depending on your course, but can include:
-
Trips to exhibitions, museums and events linked to your subject
-
Guest speakers, employer talks and competitions
-
Volunteering and fundraising for local and national charities
-
Sports, fitness and wellbeing activities
-
Student Voice, Student Union and ambassador roles
