After reinvigorating the apprenticeship programme in 2020, GSK are now wanting to build on its success, and to do this we are looking for driven candidates who are passionate about pursuing a career in manufacturing or engineering.
The Zinnat Supply Chain apprentice programme is the first of its kind for GSK, as the programme spans across both the Ulverston and Barnard Castle sites, which provides an exciting opportunity for individuals who are both outgoing and flexible, and who can integrate effectively into new teams and environments.
The programme will involve rotations between the two sites in order to maximise the learning experiences of the apprentices. This gives the potential to land in a permanent role at one of the two sites when their apprenticeship finishes.

This masterclass will introduce students to the processes and procedures by which Police Officers gather and provide primary evidence in written statement form.
Whilst this begins with what they see and hear when dealing with an incident, it is the ability to identify criminal activity and offence ‘points to prove’, recall and record the actions and speech of themselves and others, and bring a heightened level of attention to detail to their reports, which will enable them to produce high quality written ‘expert witness’ statements.
Accurate and detailed Police Officer witness statements are a crucial factor in securing convictions in a court of law; this session is designed to introduce and inform attendees of the complexity of this process.
The amazing thing about our Masterclasses is the opportunity they give your students opportunity to explore and discuss topics they’re interested in with professionals, academics and other like-minded students too! As an added bonus, attendance at our Masterclasses is rewarded with reduced offers on future applications to related subjects at the University of Cumbria (T&Cs available on our website here)

Will you be having an applicant visit day?
Is it too late to apply for a course that starts in January?
How do I start my personal statement?
How do I write a personal statement if I want to apply for two different courses?
Then, on Thursday the 10th of December, join us for an Interactive Open Evening, featuring talks from our student recruitment team, current students and our academics. The evening begins at 18:00 and will feature interactive talks from a variety of subject areas, as well as a live Q&A where our world leading researchers and teaching staff can answer your questions directly.
