Delivered in the evenings at our professional Culinary Restaurant at Channelside Campus, the course provides hands-on experience, essential kitchen knowledge, and a supportive learning environment led by Chef Emma. Ideal for beginners, career-changers, or anyone looking to progress into further study.

Staff Profile

Emma Bentley

Chef Emma began working in the hospitality and catering industry at the age of 15, gaining experience across kitchens, bakeries, butchers, cafes hotels and restaurants while studying. She trained professionally at Holker Hall, working to country house service standards and cooking for high profile guests including Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh. She later broadened her experience in private catering, local cafes and a gastro pub. Emma brings real-world industry experience to every lesson.

Emma has 11 years' teaching experience and specialises in additional needs education. After completing her degree and PGCE in teacher training, she is now studying for a Master's in Education.
