What Modules will you Study?
You will develop some of the essential skills required to enable personal development in preparation for life, further learning and employment. With a focus on your English and maths skills alongside your choice of subject pathway.
How long is the course?
Students may take up to 12 months to complete the programme.
You can enrol at any time throughout the year.

Entry Requirements
What are the entry requirements?
You’ll need 3 GCSEs at grades 2–1 (or equivalent) including English and maths, or a relevant Entry 3 vocational qualification. You may also be asked to sit an initial assessment. The initial assessment must show that you are ready to study English and maths at Level 1. If your results are lower than this, don't worry, we'll find the right course for you.
Progression
What opportunities will this lead to?
The aim is to help you progress to a Level 2 programme, an Apprenticeship or full-time job.
