The media industry is constantly evolving to accommodate changes to the way we use and access media. Podcasts, apps and online sites are now all common parts of the media industry, as well as the more traditional formats of print journalism and TV. If you are creative and want to work in some form of the media industry then look no further than this course. You will learn how to work effectively with others, produce and edit materials and gain a better understanding of things like web design and how to write in a journalistic style. You will participate in both theory and practical sessions, media students are often around the campus shooting scenes for their latest piece of work. The course is 100% coursework based and has 1 week of work experience.

Entry Requirements
What are the entry requirements?
To study this level 3 vocational course you will need a minimum of five GCSEs grade 4 or above, which should include English and maths.
If you have grade 3 in English or maths you will study this alongside your other subjects. We are unable to offer both GCSE English and maths as part of the same programme. Please contact us for advice if you need to re-sit both English Language and maths.
Our Sixth Form vocational courses may be studied as a mixed programme of three vocational subjects or a blended programme with one or two A Level subjects. Please check individual course pages for entry requirements.
