The media industry is constantly evolving to accommodate changes to the way we use and access media. Podcasts, apps and online sites are now all common parts of the media industry, as well as the more traditional formats of print journalism and TV. If you are creative and want to work in some form of the media industry then look no further than this course. You will learn how to work effectively with others, produce and edit materials and gain a better understanding of things like web design and how to write in a journalistic style. You will participate in both theory and practical sessions, media students are often around the campus shooting scenes for their latest piece of work. The course is 100% coursework based and has 1 week of work experience.

Entry Requirements
What are the entry requirements?
Cambridge Technical Level 3 Certificate in Media may be studied as part of a mixed programme of 2 A levels and 1 CTEC or BTEC, or a Mixed Level2/Level 3 programme of 3 subject.
To study Media at this level you will need to have gained 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, or Merit or better in a relevant Level 2 vocational qualification.
