This degree programme is designed for students who wish to progress from the Higher National Certificate or Higher National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or from a Foundation Degree in Electrical Engineering. The course will provide students with a sound knowledge of the fundamentals of a wide range of systems found in industry and an awareness of its applicability and relevance to good industrial practice. The programme is IET accredited and gives partial accreditation towards Chartered Engineer registration after completion of B.Eng (Hons).

• Part-time (Ord) Two years attendance
• Part-time (Hons) Two years attendance
• One full day per week in first, second and third year. The fourth year will require attendance for tutorials to assist with the dissertation.

Entry Requirements
What are the entry requirements?
BEng (Ord) requires: Higher National Certificate/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related engineering subject with an average module grade of merit
BEng (Hons) requires: BEng (Ord) in a relevant engineering subject
