Higher Level Teaching Assistants are experienced Teaching Assistants, with increased responsibilities. As an HLTA you may plan and deliver learning activities with the whole class, assess and report on pupil progress, provide specialist support for learning and behavioural needs, manage other classroom staff and liaise with parents. This challenging and rewarding role is crucial for supporting teachers and pupils in the school environment to achieve positive outcomes.

Entry Requirements
What are the entry requirements?
Learners must be working as a Teaching Assistant and hold a relevant Level 3 qualification.
Learners must have an interest in the subject and a commitment to attend and complete the course.
