What Modules will you Study?

At Level 3 you will learn how to diagnose and repair faults when they occur with these components.
Modules you may cover are as follows:

• Diagnose and rectify vehicle auxiliary electrical faults
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle engine faults
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle braking, suspension and steering system faults
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle driveline faults

This is a one-year full-time programme.

What are the entry requirements?

To be eligible, you will need to have achieved a relevant Level 2 qualification and hold a Grade 4 (or equivalent) in either English or Maths. If you do not yet have a Grade 4 in one of these subjects, you may be able to study either English or Maths as part of your programme (but not both).

Career Progression Successful completion of this course will provide you with a strong foundation for further study and progression into higher education programmes in Automotive Engineering and Technology. If you choose not to continue into further study, this course will equip you with the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence needed to pursue a career within the automotive industry.
