The Level 2 Award in Preparing to Run a Hair & Beauty Business is a short course for adults. You will gain the knowledge and understanding required in preparation to be a successful entrepreneur in the hairdressing and beauty therapy sector.

This is a blended programme. After attending a workshop in college you will have the option to complete study at home.

Course Content

What Modules will you Study?

The Level 2 Award in Preparing to Run a Hair and Beauty Business has been specially designed to enable you to gain the knowledge and understanding required in preparation to be a successful entrepreneur in the hair and beauty sector, including an awareness of the benefits and risks involved in running your own business.

You will also gain an in-depth theoretical knowledge of the laws and regulations in your region which will impact on setting up and running a business in the hair and beauty sector.

Entry Requirements

What are the entry requirements?

This course is aimed at adults aged 19 and over.

There are no formal entry requirements other than an interest in the subject and a commitment to attending and completing the course.
