This course is aimed at those who aspire to work in the vehicle accident repair sector.
Delivered by a time served industry specialist in our motor vehicle workshop, the practical units are challenging and engaging. Vehicle accident repair is a skill, which will require you to work to a high standard as you gradually build your competence in repairing dents, applying body filler, applying primers colours, and paint spraying.
This course includes some theory work in a classroom setting.

What Modules will you Study?
You will study the following subjects:
Basic body repair skills
Repair small to medium size dents
Use of body repair tools and equipment
Appling body filler, primers & colours
Paint spraying skills

This course will take 34 weeks to complete.

What are the entry requirements?
This course is aimed at adults aged 19 and over.
There are no formal entry requirements other than an interest in the subject and a commitment to attending and completing the course.
Progression
What opportunities will this lead to?
This course is an intrduction to the vehicle accident repair industry. Learners may wish to progress directly into employment, continue to the Level 2 Diploma in Vehicle Accident Repair or a related apprenticeship.
