Level 1 Certificate in Vehicle Accident Repair
This course is aimed at those who aspire to work in the vehicle accident repair sector.
Delivered by a time served industry specialist in our motor vehicle workshop, the practical units are challenging and engaging. Vehicle accident repair is a skill, which will require you to work to a high standard as you gradually build your competence in repairing dents, applying body filler, applying primers colours, and paint spraying.
This course includes some theory work in a classroom setting.

Repair small to medium size dents
Use of body repair tools and equipment
Appling body filler, primers & colours
Paint spraying skills

Entry Requirements
What are the entry requirements?
This course is aimed at adults aged 19 and over.There are no formal entry requirements other than an interest in the subject and a commitment to attending and completing the course.
Progression
What opportunities will this lead to?
This course is an intrduction to the vehicle accident repair industry. Learners may wish to progress directly into employment, continue to the Level 2 Diploma in Vehicle Accident Repair or a related apprenticeship.
I have been working on a van, but wanted to learn how to do things the proper way. John is a good teacher and the process of joining was really easy.
The classes are one evening a week, theres no pressure and it doesn't affect your daily work. If you are looking to gain a skill and qualification and meet different exciting people then why not sign up.

Cars aren't my day job, but it is an interest of both me and my dad, so autobody repairs maybe something that we look into in the futture.
