The Level 1 Certificate in Plastering is a short evening course which will support your understanding and basic practical skills.
Our evening classes are exclusive to adults, taught in our workshop in small groups. Our evening courses are suitable for those considering a new career.
We also offer courses in bricklaying, plumbing, carpentry & joinery and painting and decorating, as well as the next level in plastering should you wish to progress.
Our plastering classes run throughout the year in six weeks blocks. Please let us know in your application which dates you would prefer.
Fees: £45 per learner.
Funding may be available if unemployed or earning less than £25,750 per year, subject to residency eligibility criteria.

Course Content
What Modules will you Study?
You will study:
Introduction to health and safety in construction
You will study two of the following subjects:
Preparing background surfaces and applying render coats
Introduction to the construction industry
Preparing background surfaces and applying finishing coats
Mixing materials and applying floating coats
Producing components from moulds

Entry Requirements
What are the entry requirements?
Our adult learning short courses and evening classes are aimed at those aged 19 and over and you must have completed L1 Award in Plastering.
