The Level 1 Award in Brickwork is a short evening course which will support you to understand the basics of bricklaying.
Our evening classes are exclusive to adults, taught in our workshop in small groups. Our evening courses are suitable for those considering a new career in construction.
We also offer courses in plastering, plumbing, carpentry & joinery and painting and decorating, as well as the next level in bricklaying should you wish to progress.
Our bricklaying classes run throughout the year in six weeks blocks.
Fees: £40 per learner.
Funding may be available if unemployed or earning less than £25,750 per year, subject to residency eligibility criteria.

Entry Requirements
What are the entry requirements?
Level 1 in Brickwork is aimed at adults aged 19 and over.
There are no formal entry requirements other than an interest in the subject and a commitment to attending and completing the course.
Progression
What opportunities will this lead to?
You may wish to progress to Level 1 Certificate in Bricklaying, or one of our other construction courses in plastering, plumbing, carpentry & joinery or painting & decorating.
