The course includes topics such as financial planning, managing a business, the environments businesses work in, strategies for success and managing change. Within these topics you will learn about finance, people, operations management, marketing and competition. You will be taught in a formal classroom setting alongside reading case studies, analysing business performance, learning how to solve problems and develop strategies. You will also develop data handling skills.
What are the entry requirements?
To study business at this level you need a grade 5 or better at GCSE mathematics plus the general entry requirements. The course contains at least 10% mathematical content. Therefore, if you are not studying A Level Maths you may be required to study Level 3 Mathematical Studies as 4th subject in Plus Programme to support numeracy skills.
What opportunities will this lead to?
