Furness College delighted to announce that we have been awarded the contract from Cumbria County Council to provide a range of apprenticeship provision.
This means as part of the Cumbrian Colleges Group we will offer Levels 2 and 3 early years education, Level 3 business administration and Level 2 customer service practitioner apprenticeships for council employees in the south of the county.
Welcoming the news, Furness College’s Director of Curriculum, Employer Learning and Business Development Steve McAloone said: “The college is very proud of its apprenticeship provision and the colleges apprenticeship success rate performed significantly above the national average for the 2021-22 academic year.
“The college provides training and skills development to a wide range of employers large and small. Despite the extremely challenging conditions the sector faced in the last year, employers across the county have continued to do amazing work in supporting their apprentices to fulfil their potential.”
