Course Content
What Modules will you Study?
The T Level in Education & Early Years is a two year programme.
You will learn subjects such as safeguarding, child development, supporting education, special educational needs and disability. You will learn how to plan, provide and review educational opportunities and support the class teacher to enhance children’s education.
The course offers occupational specialism in assisting teaching in schools.
This course includes a substantial industry placement of 1 to 2 days per week.

Entry Requirements
What are the entry requirements?
You will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English Language and maths.
A grade 4 or above is needed in science to progress to degrees in primary teaching at university.
All applicants are required to have a Children’s Enhanced Workforce DBS.The DBS check will be applied for before starting the course, at a cost of £56.
Progression
What opportunities will this lead to?
The T Level allows progression onto university to do a Primary Teaching Degree and careers in education.
Students may continue to study at Furness College on the Foundation Degree for Children, Young People and their Services. Information can be found on the university course page.
