Project Management Skills Bootcamp

Project Management Skills Bootcamp.

This Skills Bootcamp has been designed and developed collaboratively to respond to the needs of local businesses. Skills Bootcamps have been designed to provide learners with knowledge and skills required for local employment opportunities, including apprenticeships or development opportunities within their existing employment.

The Project Management Skills Bootcamp is an introductory qualification for individuals who are looking to improve or gain fundamental knowledge in the area of project management.

The course will introduce learners to the terms and principles used within the project world, and on completion will allow them to make a positive contribution to any project.

Our PM Bootcamps run twice per year, over 5 consecutive days.

Monday 28th October to Friday 1st November
9am-4pm each day
Channelside campus

Are you eligible?

You must be aged 19+ and can be employed, self-employed or unemployed.
Fully funded places available for an independent learner, subsidised learning available for employees.

Are you an employer?

Tackle any skills gaps within your business today by upskilling your existing workforce on our Skills Bootcamps. A course fee subsidy of 90% is available for small and medium sized businesses; large employers will receive a 70% fee subsidy.

Our Skills Bootcamps can be delivered flexibly and we urge individuals and employers to get in touch should they require a tailored offer.

Course Content

What Modules will you Study?

You will study:


  • Planning and Scheduling


  • Communication


  • Teamwork


  • Resource Management


  • Project Risk Management


  • Project Reviews


  • The course will be assessed through a muti-choice exam. On achievement learners will receive a PFQ qualification.

    Channelside Campus

    How much will this course cost?

    No cost for independent learners.

    Small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) will receive a 90% fee subsidy and will be required to pay £237.70 per learner on enrolment.

    Large employers will receive a 70% fee subsidy and will be required to pay £713.10 per learner on enrolment.

Entry Requirements

What are the entry requirements?

Skills Bootcamps are for learners aged 19 and over.

Applicants should have a good level of English and may find it helpful if they have previuosly studied at level 3.

Applicants do not need to have any previous knowledge in the subject, but must have an interest in the subject and a commitment to completing the course.
