Course Content

What Modules will you Study?

You will choose either Kitchen or Front of House.

Kitchen:
Food safety, Kitchen management, Preparing pasta, vegetables, meat and poultry

Front of House:

Food service, Serving alcoholic beverages, Front of house operations

How long is the course?

This course typically takes 12 months to complete. This course is distance learning, with drop in sessions at Channelside.

This course may be funded through Free Courses for Jobs. If you are aged 19+ and unemployed or earning less than £25,000 per year you may be eligible. Please contact adultlearning@furness.ac.uk for more details.

Entry Requirements

What are the entry requirements?

Applicants will already hold a relevant L2 qualification or work in a suitable role.

Confidence with written English will be required to complete assignments.
