This introductory course will focus on the different types of medication that you are likely to encounter in the workplace, the various classifications of medication and the sources of information and guidance available.
This course typically takes 12 weeks to complete.

Entry Requirements
What are the entry requirements?
The course is suitable for anyone who already works in a health care setting and wants to develop and improve their knowledge and skills in managing medication safely. There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this course. However, you may find it helpful if you have already achieved a Level 1 or 2 qualification in a health or social care related area.
