Our Level 2 Cambridge Technical Diploma in Media aims to develop your professional and social skills through interaction with performers, clients and peers; as well as theoretical and technical knowledge and understanding to underpin these skills. This will allow your creativity and flair to be harnessed in the design and production of media products used within the industry. Students will develop conceptual ideas, and visualise these all the way through the production cycle; from planning and pre-production right through to editing, postproduction and presentation of products. Designed in collaboration with industry experts, the qualification focuses on the requirements that today’s employers demand. Thanks to a broad range of centre-assessed units with practical and wider project-based assessment opportunities, these are focused qualifications.

“The tutors were very helpful and showed me many examples to ensure my work met the criteria. Working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic has taught me to be more independent and has enabled me to use my own resources in order to get the work completed. My ambition is to work in the media industry designing media graphics and creating large presentations.”
