What are the entry requirements?
A minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above, grades 4/5 or above (including English and Maths) or other equivalent qualifications.
You will be required to attend an interview.

How will I learn?
Looking to break into the fast-paced and highly competitive world of the media? Want to learn how to write scripts, film, edit, create special fx and more? Taught in our brand new state of the art facilities a creative media production course at Furness College will help get you there. This course has been designed to give you opportunities to demonstrate and develop the practical application of knowledge and understanding in the areas of work that appeal to you. This will enable you to develop your research skills as you work, both independently and with colleagues, to progress through your qualifications. The assessment for the qualifications is task-based, so you wont need to take exams to achieve Cambridge Technicals qualifications.
How will I be assessed?
The assessment is designed to reward students for what they can do as well as what they know. You will be internally assessed through assignments set and marked by your lecturers. These assignments may be set assignments, projects or case study work and evidence may be in the form of written reports, graphs, posters, projects & project plans, performance-observation records, practical assessments and presentations.
Units are internally assessed and graded, externally moderated and an overall grade for the qualification is awarded.

Progression is awarded subject to successful completion of study program, aptitude, required UCAS points (University applicants) and interview.
How long is the course?
