Summary

For candidates who are maintaining quality of assessment from within an organization or assessment centre.

What are the entry requirements?

The candidate needs to be in a position where they are performing quality assurance sampling and monitoring of a minimum of 2 assessors with a minimum of 2 learners through components of a national qualification.

What subjects will I study?

Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment.
Sampling Strategies.

How will I learn?

This is a work based qualifcation so learning will be on the job.

The candidate will learn the practices and policies of internal quality assurance. Monitoring and sampling strategies.

They will learn how to plan and sampling and monitoring of assessors.

How will I be assessed?

The candidate will be assessed through observation of their practice monitoring one of their assessors.

They will also submit evidence of sampling plans and monitoring activites with the 2 assessors with a minimum of 2 learners each.

They will complete a workbook for the underpinning knowledge for the award.

They will complete a professional discussion detailing the practices and policies of internal quality assurance.

What opportunities will this lead to?

To work as an internal quality assurance for a centre delivering qualifications.

How long is the course?

9-12 months
