Summary

The level 1 diploma allows you to gain knowledge of both the early years and health and social care sectors, by doing this it enables our learners to choose their progression path at level 2 to their preferred sector. You will have some practical experience of placement during this course.

What are the entry requirements?

No formal qualifications needed, a clean DBS is essential.

What subjects will I study?

The range of service provision, Safeguarding, Communication, Equality and Diversity.

How will I learn?

You will be attend classes and also undertake some work placement.

How will I be assessed?

All work will be marked by your course tutor.

What opportunities will this lead to?

You may be able to progress to a level 2 Education course or a level 2 Health and Social care course.
