Summary

The OCR Level 3 qualifications in Administration (Business Professional) have been developed to recognise learners' understanding of complex administrative functions and activities and learners’ ability to carry out a range of non-routine administrative tasks in a senior or supervisory role.

What are the entry requirements?

Five GCSEs at grades A-C, (including English and maths), OCR Level 2 Diploma in Administration (Business professional) or other equivalent qualifications. You will be required to attend an interview.

How will I learn?

This course provides opportunities for learners to develop knowledge, understanding and skills of complex administrative functions and activities which will enable you to carry out a range of non-routine administrative tasks in a senior job role.

How will I be assessed?

The assessment is designed to reward students for what they can do as well as what they know. You will be internally assessed through assignments set and marked by your lecturers and externally moderated by OCR. These assignments may be set assignments, projects or case study work. Your coursework contains all the evidence collected as you work through the units

What opportunities will this lead to?

Students can progress on to the Level 4 Diploma in Administration, an Apprenticeship in Business Administration or employment in administration in local organisations and businesses. Progression is based on aptitude and a successful interview.

How long is the course?

Full-time over one year.
