The Level 3 Human Physiology forms part of the Access to HE Diploma. They are not stand alone qualifications.

You will learn from:
• Lectures & prepared notes/diagrams
• Practical experiments
• Discussions
• Past exam questions

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through coursework including research assignments, a portfolio, practical write ups and controlled assignments. There is also an exam in June.

What opportunities will this lead to?

Suitable for those seeking careers in health related subjects. Past students have entered degrees in nursing, bio-medical sciences, teaching (biology) and health related employment. The course is also suitable for those with a keen interest in how the human body works.

How long is the course?

Daytime only: 2 x 3 hour sessions per week from September to June.

Are there any additional costs?

A course textbook is required at approximately £10.
