This Apprenticeship is for you if you are currently employed or looking for employment in the care industry. You could be working in the NHS, the private sector, local authorities or in the voluntary sector.

This type of work involves helping people with a particular need, such as the disabled, the elderly or people with learning disabilities where you work in homes,care homes or in the community. You could also work in hospitals, hospices or private clinics as a healthcare support worker or a healthcare assistant. The work you do would support doctors or nurses or you might be helping patients in hospital wards or their homes, serving food or making and changing beds.

The apprenticeship allows me to better myself as it gives me more skills and knowledge to carry out my job role and opens up more opportunities in my area of work and better qualifications.
