Don’t think you have the time?

Programmes are designed to fit around work and family life. Some of our courses are delivered on-site at our state-of-the-art Channelside campus, while others can be delivered via distance learning to offer you maximum flexibility.

Has it been a while?

Our adult learning courses are exclusively for adults aged 19 and over. Many of our adult learners are returning to education after a significant period of time. If your course requires attendance in College, your group will be small and supportive.

Worried about fees?

  • you are studying a course that can be funded by an Advanced Learner Loan

Course fees and funding information can be found on each course page. For more information on financial support contact Student Services.

What do our adult learners say?

“Access has been really good, a good learning experience and flexible and part-time.

I had a different mindset when I was younger, but now I am ready to learn. I’ve had a really good experience here and glad I did it. I would tell any other adults who were unsure about going back into education to just go for it.”

Lauren Cairns, Access to Higher Education

“The course was amazing! I learnt such a lot about cooking and baking. Emma was brilliant helping with words and practical skills, the other students were also great and we helped each other. I would definitely recommend the course and I hope to do another one soon.”

Daniel Aley, Level 1 Award in Introduction to Culinary Skills
